A feature documentary titled 'Finding His Stride', about stride jazz piano. In the 1920's and 1930's stride piano playing was at its most popular. It continues in this century, kept alive and evolving by fewer than 25 serious players around the world. 'Finding His Stride' follows pianist Ari Kast as he seeks to find these people, to learn from them both what stride is really about, and the secrets of its playing.
